[Frame & Legs][/sub]
Sparrowdash has a thin yet broad build to him. He has a long torso which lacks any obvious bone, making him look almost snake-like and fluid. Though he is not long enough to look malformed and weird, just flexible and well worked. His shoulders are wide and broad giving him a more wise appearance, it expands his chest which makes him look stronger and more muscled when really that is not what he is built for. His frame tightens at the waist and slightly widens at the back almost like an hourglass shape, which seems almost feminine like if it wasn't for the broad shoulders and more structured build. Meaning he walks dignified and not all swaying like a female's when she moves. He can make himself look more fluid like if he intentionally does it to make his prey, or enemy feel circled and more cut off because of his longer and thin stomach. His frame is made mainly for speed since he was born to that kind of terrain, but many debate it because of his broad and strong looking shoulders. Though his body is thin, it does have moons of experience, and above his bones he has a thin yet really hard layer of muscle, whichcan be noticeable when he makes major movements with his body such as: jumping, pouncing, running, crouching or just sitting slouched over. He is not an unstable tom cat at all, but he better puts his muscle to work with agility and endurance rather that in full on combat.
His legs are another thing, they start out as if they are strong and sturdy yet they seem to thin a bit as they reach his paws. His legs are well formed for the speed that a cat would need in order to catch prey and survive in those lands. They look built to code and seem sturdy to handle long distance running. His legs carry the tom cat proudly and they don't struggle or buckle under a mass amount of pressure since this is truly what he was built for. His body type is perfect for chasing after prey, though they are not always a good thing, they can sometimes decide not to move as quick as they should and get caught behind another of his feet. This causing him to tumble over before he can catch himself. Just because he has longer legs doesn't mean he is freakishly tall he just a little above an average ThunderClan cat in height, but not by a lot. He likes being slightly taller because he feels he can get a better view over his fellow clan mates and see things farther in the distance, plus it allows him to be more well detected in a larger crowd. The joints where his front two legs meet his torso looks stronger and more bulky because of the muscle that built up there from endurance training, and the fur along his legs is thin except for his elbow joint, you could say and there it fluffs out a bit like tail feathers. Because of this it helped to define his bird like name, really it applied mainly to his surname. His legs are the one thing that he feels will never fail him in life, except when he finds himself tripping over himself at times, though rarely does it happen during battle when his body is moving due to adrenaline and determination. It then moves just quickly enough, though it doesn't mean he can't ever fall over on his own. His body is not perfect and sometimes even in battle his legs will not always catch up with what his brain wants it to do.
[Paws & Claws]
Sparrowdash has rather wide and larger paws which look a bit strange on someone with thinner legs near that end. His paws almost fan out a bit like a triangle sort of, his heel being the tip point and stretching out to revel his toes and paw center. His paws look thick and tall, as if they swelled up a bit from all the running. Another reason why others would debate that he was built for battle instead, having a paw that large would pack a lot of punch right? Well yes if used for that certain purpose, his paws really are for intimidation and quick footedness they could be used as powerful weapons only when he is lashing out and has a clear shot otherwise it almost causes him to lose some of his momentum making him a bit more likely to be hit dead on if not careful. Like stated before just because his paws are large does not mean they are abnormally larger they are just slightly above normal for most cats.
Inside these paws are three long claws that can be used for great use. The shine an almost ominous dark brown, slightly black color making them deadly and hard to see at night. They are razor sharp from sharpening them on the trees found through out the territory and they curve oddly toward the paw itself but not by much. Thus making the claws resemble a darker crescent moon easily able to snag onto another cat or animals pelt and drag them closer. Which he uses as a great hunting technique when going after rodents, birds not so much unless he lands at just the right time and angle for it. When in battle and quick feet is not very effective he will result to the catch and hold technique which results in his claws hitched on there shoulder blades, not a very comfortable move for the victim and also very dangerous if performed just right. Since he allows the claws to brake the skin, drawing blood and because of the back bones it is harder to unlatch it from though back slam moves could be used as an alternative in this case. Making even a deadly move less likely to succeed in doing its up most damage to the prey or victim in battle.
||PELT:||
[Colors & Markings]
Sparrowdash you would expect would be darker browns almost like a mud brown mixed with red because of his name sparrow. Though in reality his pelt is about four shades lighter than that. It is a mixture of darker and lighter shades of brown, which basically comes out as a cinnamon brownish color. His main body color would be a pale sandy colored brown which resembles most of the cinnamon color that is found through out his fur. It is a nice shade of brown that looks almost mixed with sand and brown sugar that brings out the nice subtle look of this tom cat. His pelt would maybe have about three different shades of brown, already going over the main one now unto the second most noticed color on his fur. This one is more of an ashy earthy brown that darkens his face and smudges behind his ears, along his neck ,and almost rings his tail and legs . Thus making him almost like a subtle sand tiger or something along those lines. It gives him a more regal and soft look to him, which in turn adds onto his charm and attractiveness factor as a cat in general. This is the main reason for his first name sparrow, because of these slightly darker smudges that at some points resemble a feather like approach, but not always meeting up, he resembles more of a spring sparrow rather than a fall sparrow being a lighter shade than ruddy brown. His third noticeable color is actually lighter than all the rest it looks more of a faded tan color more on the creamier side as it outlines his eyes, and serves as his chest and under belly color, almost the very tips of his paws. It kind of blends in with the first color a bit but in any kind of direct light you can clearly see the differences between the two. Since the lightest color frames his eyes it makes his eye colors pop more and are clearly more noticeable and readable, also a contributing factor to his charm.
As for his markings they are of two things that are noticeable. Of course the slight feathery look of his fur was one of them created because of the over lapping light and darker colors. Though he does have a slight darker color not mentioned because there is not very much of it, this color is more like a maple colored brown yet mixed with a lighter earth colored brown. This color makes out the three darker tabby lines running down his face like rain drops on a window sill. Those three tabby stripes are along his back, the first stripe being place over his shoulders and kind of arching into his chest stopping at his faded tan cream color of his chest and muzzle area. The second right in the middle of his torso area and kind of semi wraps around his stomach, the third found on the hind leg joint region, it is also the shortest tabby line that stops just as it falls over his hind area and down toward his legs. His tabby markings are not to thick and not to thin so they are noticeable but with taking up to much of his wonder shades of brown noted before, this also adds to an almost tiger like appearance if it wasn't for the brown sugar colors making a feather like motion in smudges along his fur that made him a sparrow instead of a tiger.
[Length & Feel]
Sparrowdash's pelt ranges from short to slightly longer in different places on his body. His main pelt length is short and settles around his head, torso, and tail. The shortness of his fur allows him to keep cool during the summer time, since less heat is trapped onside his fur, but is a little more dangerous during the winter when temperatures drop, thankfully his fur has a seasons change and slightly grows a bit longer during the winter to allow him to survive just enough to last till the spring when it starts to warm up. The longer tufts of fur are mainly found on his leg joints that allow him to point a paw or place it down it fluffs out at that joint almost like feathers which appeal to his surname as stated before. It also seems to thicken and flow from the chin toward his underbelly also like a soft mane though it is not overly grown
His fur has an overall feather like feel, and when you brush into it it feels soft and inviting. His longer tufts flutter lightly in a breeze and his short pelt, even though it doesn't it still has a soft look and feel if you put a paw on it and move it around. It is rarely in a mess as he likes to keep it clean and free of debris though with the shorter fur it is a lot easier to keep it well groomed and soft.
Eyes:
Sparrowdash as nice dark sky blue eyes, his eyes almost have two different shades that can be found in them. His main color is a clear blue sky color, you know how the sky resembles a dark blue on a cloudless day? Well that's exactly what color most of his eyes are. They darken around the rims and seem almost stormy colored but that is only because it ends the iris from going into the white part of the eyes. The second color is more of an ice colored blue that is found near the center toward the pupil, it makes his colors look aquatic and almost chinning at a quick glance, like the depths could keep you trapped forever in ice if you stare at them to long, it helps when he is trying to persuade or intimidate other cats.
WHAT ARE YOU LIKE?
[Proud & Loyal][/sub]
Sparrowdash is a very proud tom and never liked getting help from other cats on things he felt didn't concern them. Even with other warriors during his training, he felt that his leader and mentor knew best and he preferred advice from them and not from them. Which was a little mistake on his part, what Sparrowdash failed to realize was that everyone in their own ways built up a true warrior and that's something he still is trying to wrap his mind around, but he is slowly growing on the concept on sharing techniques inner clan only. He has to much pride to get help from other clans and so he doesn't really listen to their tips during gatherings. Though he respects other clans way of life, he feels they do not belong within his own clan. Because of this he does not like receiving any aid from other clans except in dire need for it, if it can be solved within the clan he will not allow outside help.
Sparrowdash is loyal to his clan which is pretty obvious, he does not believe in outer clan relations and will not take such offenses to lightly so try to catch him in a good mood if you hope for a bit of sympathy. He would never be one to break the code and sticks mainly to the code, though even the most by the book cats will stretch it for the needs of the clan.
[To Serious & Wise]
Sparrowdash can tend to be a little overly serious and rather bland at times. He doesn't like to show emotion much for he feels it exposes to much of the inner self that shouldn't be exposed. He's seen many cats destroyed by showing to much emotion to someone else so he's innerly terrified of commitment to another cat that would make his mind to fragile. With this fear it makes him very nervous when a cat tries to get to close and he can tend to lash out harshly to try and keep them away. To try and prevent this from happening he acts more blunt and emotionless to see strong and well under control of himself.
Sparrowdash may seem more bland but he really has some insight on how things are in the world. Why things should be the way they are and why they aren't. This trait makes him more deep and sometimes more thoughtful to those around him, making his personality very split, duty and pride on one side and empathy on the other it usually depends on what kind of mood his is in that day.
relationships:
[Suspicious & Gentle]
Sparrowdash often is misunderstood to those who don't know him to well. They think he is ambitious and a danger to the clans just because he wants his clan to survive. Like if there is a drought and he absolutely needs water he will ask another Clan if they could spare some, some other cat think of this as an aim for more territory because of how he words things to be more persuasive. Really he just wants to protect his clan and he feels like they are family, and he will do what ever it takes to protect his family. To others they see Sparrow as dark, and a little entrusting because of his reluctance to let others know to much about ThunderClan's affairs ,or his own for that matter, during gatherings which makes some suspicious.
inside:Afraid of Love & Nervous around Females
Under all this rough exterior is a gentle tom that cares for others more than himself. He would in a heartbeat jump in the way of deadly claws to save a clan mate and secretly has a soft spot for kits, finding them as silly little things that have so much to give to the world. He never really thought of himself having any and really he is scared to, he feels as if he would fail them as a father. This rough tom is anyways as tough and structured as he looks, he is still human or rather feline in a sense. Tough he rarely try to show this part of him to others for he feels it makes him come off as an serious and weak.
other:
[Persuasive & Intimidating]
Sparrowdash has a way of getting what he wants out of other cats, mind you it does not always work but he is pretty good at influences others into doing what he thinks is best. He can have this way of speaking that would hit the soft spots of a cat that would allow them to agree with what he is proposing. Though he does not use this very often it is quite effective and he will try to trigger the emotions of: guilt, anger, pity, and even love to help fuel his way of thinking. Like I said he only uses it when he think his way is what is truly needed for his clan, other than that he stays away from other cats emotions, not ever really liking to play with them since he is scared of his own getting played with. This talent of persuasion allowed him to be a strong speaker, and an optimist when it comes to his clans success.
To add on to his persuasiveness his looks cause him to look intimidating at some points. His eyes narrow fully and his gaze becomes intense and it can make any cat think twice about what they are going to do. Again he only uses these skills when necessary and wont glare at every cat that walks by him, he tries to be humble and involved most of the time, but others his more sly nature appears when he feels his clan needs more than what it has already.
