Whitepaw was up bright and early as usual, the sky was barely turning a shade of grey blue from the dawn light. The slender white she-cat stood posed out in the middle of camp, her head high like she was ready to take on the whole world. Who knows maybe she was, or maybe she believed she could. Always the optimist she took in a deep breath or morning air, her orange and gold colored optics gleamed like tiny flames on a candle. A smile pressed on her maw as she glanced around the camp, everyone was well asleep at this time. Few ventured out into the unknown morning Whitepaw, however went out to do things on impulse. When she randomly woke up she knew she did not want to sleep. When you thought about it there was a lot that went on in the morning that most others missed. Her ears perked and angled forward as the slightest chip of early birds hung in the air. Her white tear drop tail swished like a soft cloud across the sky. Turning she trotted happily towards the camp entrance, then again when wasn't she excited to do something new.
When she went down into the ravine, the trees made the terrain almost still look like night. The canopy of leaves blocking out was little and faded light could get through the leaves. Her whiskers twitched at the cold air that blew past her face, making her whiskers tickle her cheeks. Suddenly she was bored, she was out here all alone, now what? Maybe she should have brought someone, it would make it less dull. Turning she headed deeper into the woods, letting the darkness engulf her petite and snow colored pelt. Her orange optics glowed luminously in the faded light and she could see as it slowly got brighter and brighter. Her paws pressed lightly against the earth and the grass blades brushed against her longer legs.
She slowly found the light brightening and turning all the dull colors of dawn into a bright wonderland. The autumn leaves that looked brown and dead in the grey morning now were slowly starting to look like bits of gold and red streaks painted on the canopy ceiling above. This transformation always left her breathless every time she woke up to see it. Suddenly she pushed back on her hind legs and went rocketing into the forest trying to beat the expanding light that was spreading over the forest, she laughed delighted at this little game. So far she was winning but she could see it stretching out the take hold of her and keep her in the light. Oh how she wished to share this with someone, now she knew to wake them up before she went out on her crazy impulses. Soon enough the light surpased her and Whitepaw skidded into a stop sending up bits of dirt and grass. She frowned. "To think I could have won."
shrugging it off she trotted along down the path way that lead to a stream, one that went past them and into WindClan territory. A small curve of it barely made its way onto their side and stepping out she peered inside its watery depths. A glint of silver flashed by, it wasn't large but an average sided fish. Pressing her lips together she plopped down and curled her tail over her paws. How does RiverClan do this? she thought and recklessly swiped her paw in and the fish flew out and went back in the water, darting away quickly. Well that wasn't right.... Lowering onto her stomach she peered into the water, she was always slightly fascinated at the idea of being able to fish, that was what separated RiverClan from all the other clans. Though all clans had their own special abilities, WindClan had their speed, ShadowClan their stealth, and ThunderClan had its amazing tree climbing skills.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/sub][/color]

The morning air was crisp and cool. The soft glow of sunlight slowly crept into the den of a sleeping cat. He was curled up tight in the nest of sticks and leaves, trying to keep warm. As the warm sun touched his body, his muscles relaxed, letting in the warmth. Pantherfur mumbled in his sleep. He dreamed he was out chasing a mouse, darting through the bushes and grass, to finally pin his prey down and devour it. His stomach growled loudly; he was hungry and it was time to get up.
The black tomcat slowly stretched out his legs and arched his back, yawning loudly. He flicked his tail and got up, then stretched his body out again. He hesitantly walked out of his den, letting the warm sunlight shine onto his face. It was a beautiful day. The camp was quiet and motionless. Leaves dotted the ground, and the air was cool. Pantherfur stood a moment, then padded to the entrance of the camp, his tail twitching as he went.
As he stepped out through the tunnel and into the forest, he could smell scents of different kinds of animals. He decided to go to the stream to get a quick drink. As he made his way he spotted a small brown mouse up ahead. It quickly darted back and forth, nibbling on seeds. Pantherfur instinctively dropped into a hunting position, creeping up on the mouse. When he got close enough, he sprang from his feet and landed on the ground in front of him. The mouse had just avoided his claws and ran into the bushes. Panther fur sat up and sighed. He licked his forepaw and rubbed it over his ear. He could hear the soft noise of water running over rocks near him.
A flash of white caught his eye. He tasted the air, and identified it as a ThunderClan cat. He walked over to the stream, and found the she-cat, Whitepaw, looking into the water. He quietly made his way over to her, trying not to let her notice him. "Well, hello there," he meowed, hoping it would startle her.

Whitepaw stood staring into the crystalline waters before, they were icy to the touch but gentle like a breeze. It was odd to see how they contrasted and yet it was a beautiful thing. Her copper colored optics narrowed thoughtfully she wondered what it would be like to be pretty, and adored. She was so plain so reckless who would want to take a chance with someone so spirited and opinionated as her. Again Whitepaw was naive and oblivious to her actual dazzling beauty, her pure white fur that not many cats could get. Still to her she was plain nothing extraordinary just ordinary. A firm line was placed on her face and her ears flattened, but a moment later her normal spunk returned and that whole thought was lost as another glint of silver scales got all of her attention. Her eyes were intent on the fish before she could even do anything she felt a presence behind her. She tightened her muscles but then it felt familiar and so she relaxed once again. A scent entered her glands her eye brows lifted in surprise. "Well, hello there,"
.Though no word escaped her maw as she looked over her shoulder at a familiar black tom cat. She gave a smile of greeting as he approached, and nodded to him. "Morning Pantherfur!"[/color] her voice was cheerful before she turned around and completely focused on the task at hand. She would get how to do this she would. How hard could it really be? Lowering her frame the fifteen almost sixteen moon she-cat peered into the waters once again. These fish were asking for it, she pressed her lips into a thin smile before lowering her paw back into the water. When she saw a glint of silver she swiped and the fish flew out of the water and onto the shore, it flopped around for awhile and then stopped. Getting to her paws she reached to Pantherfur's shoulder's in height as she cautiously walked towards the fish. She glanced back at Pantherfur, "Think its dead?"[/color] she asked lowered her coppery orange optics onto the fish. Out stretching a paw she touched backing away in surprises as it flopped back to life and jumped its way back to the river. She laughed the excitement had not worn off from the skillful catch anyways and she got back to her paws. Glancing around she spotted an old log that had fallen over the rather large stream and Whitepaw bounded towards it, when she was near her body tightened and her hind muscles bunch up as she sprang up onto the log. Not the most stable of things as it creaked like old and rotten stairs, yes it could be dangerous did she care? Probably not in reality she probably wasn't thinking about the danger at all. Falling into semi shallow water wasn't the best idea but the white female was determined to catch a fish today. Heading to the middle with expert balance she sat at its base and leaned over slightly. Watching the few fish glittering past her below. How did I do this? she thought to herself and lowered her paw into the water. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/sub][/color]
