Skeletal & Legs
He has always had a more broad type form even when he was younger. He was not large so to speak, but more lean and muscular than most of the other toms back in his day. Even now Greysnout still has a broad and wise look to him though from his form he looked more like a fighter rather a medicine cat. His legs still sturdy ,even in his old age, are average length but still rounded with muscle, his endurance was probably what kept him alive so long. His body was made for strength and to be long lasting in any physical activity. Though his muscle now is not as well worked due to his current field and his movement seems for tense and rigid than it could be.
Coat color & feel[/u]
His coat has two different and slightly contrasting colors in it. The firs is an off white color that almost resembles that of milk as it has a creamy and slightly beigeish look to it, if you really pay attention to it. It is actually still a nice shade of cream color and oddly his pelt is not at all tinged with silver or pure white hairs. Its as if StarClan kept his pelt young and so at times you wouldn't be able to guess that he was as old as he is, he is proud of that fact. The second color is a nice ashy grey that is smudged onto his coat through out his pelt, it is on his face which was one reason for his full name, that and his keen sense of smell. His tail is long and snake like, with no plume to it just and average tail.
If you press your paw into his fur it would feel soft like silk and is actually warn and inviting to the touch. It is always kept glossy as he doesn't like to look unprofessional or like a kit so he keeps himself well groomed so others don't have to. His fur is semi long and can catch a breeze and blow like strands of cream and grey ribbons. It is slightly more fluffed out around his muzzle making it resemble a slight mane, and if you rested you head on it it would be soft and comfortable, but it also serves to give him a calm and majestic look.
Face & Eyes[/u]
Even for his older age he is still a handsome tom with a sharp and angular face. It is still chiseled nicely and pointed like if he was still young and in his prime. His face is kind of rounded however and his ears are triangular shaped and pointed at the tip. His whiskers are long and flowing a nice white color and they flow and touch his shoulder blades. His nose is a soft grey color like hat of the rest of his body but slightly darker so it is noticeable. His eyes were once a nice shade of emerald green but now because of his loss of sight it is a more transparent but still very lightly has a greenish tint to it, though mainly it is more of a faded grey color making it easy to see he was blink if you really peered into its depths for you would find nothing.[/blockquote][/sub]

Wise & Experienced
He could easily be one of the wisest cats in the clans for he is a lot older than most of the other elders. He has seen many things before his blindness and still even with that he still learnt a lot more since his other senses became heightened. He noticing things that not very many others would take the time to notice, which was a reason he was forced to be a medicine cat since he could detect a plants age by the scent it gave off making him able to find the most fresh and well working herbs out of a bunch. He has a way of saying things that make you take a step back and really think about it, but he only expresses this when his is in one of his calmer moods rather than his usual grumpiness.
From his many and many moons of life he has also become very experienced, and knows how to handle many situations. They say he was alive when even Firestar was but as an older kit but he still remembers what life was like back then. He knows the many dangers of life, what is a threat and what can help you. He knows old codes that have long been banished a revised. Out of everyone he knows more than most leaders think they do as he surpasses everyone's age in his clan. He is pretty level headed in situations while others react to quickly to difficult situations so he is often consulted for advise even from the other leaders at gatherings because as a medicine ca he is unbiased and has a way of knowing what to keep confidential or not. Which at times made him seem unloyal and yet he extremely respected at the same time.
Crazy & Moody[/u]
Of course with each elder there is something a little off about them, but seeing as he is, well ancient he's more so than others. He can often be found talking to himself, as if he is talking to another cat. Such as decision making he will go back and forth with himself and try to see which way is the best to go about the situation. Or other times when it looks like he is really trying to see something, which causes others to pity him though he can detect some things that they don't give him credit more. His main crazy side is the heated discussions he has with himself, or could it be StarClan?
Greysnout can be know to be a bit moody at times and can be easily angered by certain things. He can come off as quite sarcastic when others make obvious remarks, he hates those the most pointing out the obvious to him like he some stupid kit when he knows a lot more about it that others. Just because he is blind does not mean he is useless and can't figure things out for himself. He hates when others try to lie or play dumb and that is something that could set him off pretty easily as he can sense fear and other emotions like waves off of others so its pretty hard to hide things from him anyways. He has a lot of regret for what happened to his brother and he still blames himself for his death, this could often switch his mood into remorse and hatred for himself for letting him die when he did all he could at the time. When others bring up his brother or other touchy subjects he can lash out harshly with spiteful and cold words.
Clever & Stubborn[/u]
Despite his oldness he is actually a lot smarter, and those who have known him personally know how clever he is. He knows how to mix herbs and make them stronger or weaker depending on the specimen and has good survival technique as he had many moons of warrior training as well so he knows a lot about planning, hunting, and fighting and would sometimes correct apprentices who were practicing at camp. His mind is like a super computer and has not slowed down at all as he thinks quickly on some things and slower if it requires deeper thought but he can usually figure a lot out about things that are questioning the others in his clan.
Greysnout is known to be stubborn and when others try to tell him to slow down, take a break or retire he will often have something to say about it. He does not want to become a useless bump on a log that has to be taken care of and has proven this many times, and since his field of work isn't all that tedious they allow him to do as he wishes. He likes things his way and its hard to ever sway his mind on the thing he is focusing on, its like talking to a brick wall at times. He is opinionated and if you don't want the truth plain out don't go to him for answers.

-He wasn't always blind, he lost his sight in a battle long ago around the end of his apprenticeship.

-Lost his brother due to black cough, still blames himself for his death
-Became a medicine cat at 19 moons when the previous medi was killed.
